CareGrate – fall protection for open manholes

CareGrate is a versatile safety grating that reduces the risk of people and larger objects falling into open manholes. It improves safety for both personnel working around the manhole and people nearby.

Models with integrated hatches provide easy access for work inside the manhole while allowing the grating to remain in place over the opening. Several models also feature slots for cables and pipes to facilitate work.

CareGrate is available in several sizes to fit different manhole openings. With the Fit800 adapter, the models can also be used on manholes with a diameter of 800 mm.

Models

• Base: Safety grating without hatches.

• Flex 2G: Two quarter-section hatches with slots for cables and pipes.

• Flex 1G: One large side hatch with slots for cables and pipes, plus stabilising wings for added stability.

• Compact: Two quarter-section hatches with slots for cables and pipes. Folds down to a quarter of its size for convenient transport and storage.

• Center: Centrally positioned hatch with a 280 × 280 mm opening.

• Fit800: Adapter for use on manholes with a diameter of 800 mm.
